Operational Support Manager (OSM)
The OSM reports to the CEO and has overall responsibility for all logistical support tasks, BBBEE scorecard tracking, Human Resource management tasks and systems as well as management of the operational support department and personnel. The OSM’s responsibilities are:
Logistic support functions
- Develop, document, implement and maintain all appropriate logistical support procedures.
- Develop, implement, maintain and provide support for the Management Information System (MIS).
- Develop, implement, maintain and provide support for the Time Management System (TMS).
- Develop, implement and maintain IT infrastructure.
- Procure and maintain office infrastructure.
- Develop, implement and maintain the corporate website.
- Develop and maintain corporate marketing material.
Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment
- Continuously monitor BBBEE status and compliance.
- Maintain M‑Tech’s BBBEE scorecard.
Human resource management
- Develop and implement a human resource management policy framework and promote personnel development and performance.
- Develop and implement appropriate employee contracting models and procedures.
- Maintaining up‑to‑date job descriptions for all personnel.
- Advertising of vacancies and recruitment of new personnel.
- Develop and implement performance appraisal procedures and systems.
- Develop and implement personnel development procedures and systems.
- Develop and implement internal communication procedures and systems.
General
- Plan and provide effective MIS, TMS, IT, BBBEE and HR systems training to all employees and contractors.
- Managing and leading all operational support department personnel.
- Managing the operational support, BBBEE and HR expenses budget.
